More than twenty years ago, one film prop changed how I saw collecting: a sword forged with real care, not stamped out on a factory line. That standard — authenticity, craftsmanship, and honest representation — has guided everything I've built since. What started as a personal passion for collecting — hunting flea markets, forging connections with master craftsmen, and tracking down pieces with genuine provenance — became something I felt compelled to share.
What We Collect
Relic & Reel specializes in handmade steel — forged knives, swords, and display pieces built by working smiths, not assembly lines. We work directly with artisans who still practice traditional forging methods: Damascus steel folded hundreds of times, handles shaped from natural horn and stabilized wood, edges finished by hand. These aren't decorative objects. They are functional works of art built to last generations.
Alongside them: historically-inspired armor, licensed collectibles, and the stands and cases to display them properly. We're building toward authentic, licensed movie and television memorabilia, sourced through proper channels. Every addition to the catalog moves that goal forward.
Our Quality Standard
Every blade and display piece is inspected against a simple test: would I put this in my own collection? Materials, construction, and finish all have to meet that bar before anything goes up for sale.
We do not stock counterfeit branded knives, unlicensed replicas of copyrighted characters, or pieces we can't describe honestly. If something can't be represented accurately without borrowing someone else's trademark, it doesn't belong in this catalog — full stop.
Product descriptions are written to be accurate, not aspirational. If a blade is unsharpened, we say so. If a stand is polymer rather than hardwood, we say so — even when a supplier's own listing claims otherwise. You should know exactly what you're getting before you order.
Shipping You Can Track and Trust
Every order ships with tracking, from the moment it leaves our fulfillment partners to the moment it reaches you. Orders are typically prepared within 1–3 business days and arrive in 7–15 business days within the US. High-value and bladed pieces are packaged with the same care a collector would use themselves.
