Bowie Knives
Hand-forged Bowie knives — the classic American frontier blade.
The Bowie knife takes its name from Jim Bowie, whose large knife became famous after the 1827 Sandbar Fight. The design that followed, with a long clip-point blade, a crossguard and a sturdy handle, became the standard American frontier knife and is still one of the most recognized fixed blades in the world.
Our Bowie collection includes hand-forged Damascus Bowies, classic clip-point designs and heavy camp Bowies from independent makers, with handles in stag, bone, horn and exotic wood, many paired with tooled leather sheaths.
